The theme for Christmas 2021 at Standen was Enchanting Nature and the tree in the courtyard featured lots of felted creatures like this peacock and some of my tiny William Morris fabric trees. Continuing the nature theme inside the house, a number of us volunteers spent a morning cutting out these paper animals to create this magical decoration which turned very slowly suspended from above.
I made the EPP star as a gift for my mother-in-law as the William Morris fabric was recycled from an old chair cover of hers. Some of the cards I made used recycled cards from the previous year as the view though the windows.
